BRIDE WARS

starring Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson

I haven't seen this movie (though I know my mom will drag me to it; she likes chic
flicks. Actually, I'd say she loves them,) but I predict it will be yet another movie venture that will attract many, then will predicitably recieve less than great ratings. The concept is cute and catchy, but I'm sure the outcome will be a sugar coated mistake molded into a form of a somewhate catchy film. Well, here goes...

mugwump is pretty cool. Mugwump features wallets recycled from many different objects such as maps and vinyl table cloths. And it's pretty cheap! Just 18 to 25 bucks per wallet. They also offer book bags from 42 to 60 dollars. The only catch is Mugwump accessories are only sold at specific retailers. Check the site to see if Mugwump is sold near you.

Poseur
By Rachel Maude
Poppy Books

This stylish novel tells the story of four stylish girls, Charlotte, Jani, Mellisa, and Petra. Each girl, polished with their own lifestyle and personality, must work together to create a fashion line for a fashion class in school. Some say Poseur is simply a Gossip Girl rip-off, but, personally I think it is much better than the common GG model, packaged for teenagers with a zero level of confidence who dash for the common mediocre fashion drama. I think Poseur stands out of from all the rest, glittering with the message to be whoever you want, especially when choosing clothes and friends.

DIYNESS

DIY now seems to have increased popularity because A) You can make your very ugly and old clothes look awesome and B) DIY projects usually cost NOTHING. So now I have decided to have my first official blog review about some pretty cool DIY sites.

www.threadbanger.com/

This crafty website is great for both craft beginners, and expert sewers, or even beginner sewers. Rob Czar and Corinne Leigh make a great pair each episode. Some episodes feature Meg Allan, who had her owner show on Threadbanger, but recently married. Congrats! Be sure to visit Thread Banger for some awesome DIY how tos!!

www.instructables.com/

Instructables not only provides crafty how tos, but some tech stuff too. It's a basic site where users can upload instructions to make..well...just about anything! Check it out for craft's sake.

www.Etsy.com/

I swear Etsy is the carfter's Ebay. Each holiday season or birthday, turn to Etsy for eco-friendly, handmade gifts. You can even buy a chic painting for yourself. With these tough economic times, Etsy is the Ester. Ha...Get it?
